A Peace That I Haven't Felt in Years

Dear Fr. Marco, I wanted to write to you about my experience after sending a prayer for my own healing. For nearly two years, I have been carrying the heavy burden of my cancer diagnosis. The treatments left me so tired and worried about the future. I sent you a prayer card asking for strength and for the doctors' hands to be guided. When the photograph of my card arrived, it was a small comfort. Since then, something has shifted inside me. I am still in treatment, and the road is long, but a deep sense of peace has settled over me. The fear that used to be my constant companion has quieted. I am able to sleep through the night again.
