These terms cover every order placed on this site. By placing an order you agree to them. The four statements at the foot of this page are part of them.
Who runs this service
Holy Cards of St. Peter's is a service run by Numina House. For anything about an order, write to care@holycardsofsaintpeters.com.
What you are buying
You write a prayer. We print it on a card. Fr. Marco carries the card into St. Peter's Basilica, holds it up and photographs it. We email you the photograph and keep it in your portal. That is the whole service.
Each offer on the site says what it adds. Every price is shown before you pay.
- The Apostle's Tomb: a second photograph of the same card, in the Vatican Grottoes.
- Speed, 24 hours: your card is placed and photographed within 24 hours instead of 3 days.
- Second Prayer: a second card, for a second name, carried in the same way.
- Same-Day Placement: your card goes in on today's walk.
- Voice of the Sanctuary: your prayer, read aloud, as an audio file to keep.
- Your Card by Post: a printed copy of your card, posted to you.
- Anniversary Re-Placement: your card, printed fresh and carried in again a year on.
- Monthly Prayer Membership: a card carried in every month, with a new photograph each time.
When it happens
A standard order is placed and photographed within 3 days of payment. Fr. Marco walks most mornings. If the basilica is closed, or the walk cannot be made that day, your card goes in on the next walk he makes.
Your words
You choose the name and write the prayer. A prayer can be up to 320 characters. We print the name and the words on the card exactly as you wrote them, so check the spelling before you pay.
If a name is spelled wrong on the card, write to us within 30 days with the right spelling. We write the card again and photograph it again, free.
What you pay
You pay by card, in US dollars. Your card details go to Stripe, which takes the payment. Your statement shows HOLYCARDS with our support address beside it.
After checkout we may offer more, such as a second prayer or a card by post. Each offer shows its price. Nothing is charged unless you tap yes, and a yes is charged to the card you just used. Nothing on this site repeats unless you ask for it.
Monthly Prayer Membership
The membership puts one card into St. Peter's Basilica every month, with a new photograph each time. Its price is shown before you join, monthly or yearly. It renews on the same date each period until you end it.
You end it from your portal in one click, with no call and no form. Ending it stops the next charge. The membership then closes at the end of the period you have already paid for.
Your Card by Post
A print of the same card on heavy card stock, 105 by 148 mm, posted in an envelope. Postage is included. We use your address only to post the card.

What this is, and what it is not
This is a service fee, not a donation.
Your payment covers printing your card, carrying it in, holding it up, and photography. It is not a charitable contribution and is not presented as one.
We do not sell outcomes.
No healing, reconciliation, provision, or answer of any kind is promised, implied, or offered for sale. What God does with a placed prayer is between the person who prayed and God.
We are not the church.
This is an independent service. We are not St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican, or any diocese, and we do not speak for them.
The photo shows where your prayer is held. Nothing more is promised.
Every photo depicts your prayer card exactly where it is held. That is the entire deliverable, and it is enough.
