Dear Fr. Marco,
A few months ago, I sent you a prayer for my mother. She was facing a difficult and risky heart surgery, and I felt so helpless watching her worry. I asked for your team to carry a prayer for her peace, strength, and the hands of her surgeons.
You sent the photograph of the holy card in St. Peter's, and I placed it by her bedside. The morning of her operation was calm. Her surgeon said everything went as well as it possibly could. The recovery has been long, but steady. There have been no complications. She is herself again, tired but talking and even laughing. I don't know how to explain the quiet that settled over our family during those hard weeks, but it was there.
Thank you for carrying our prayer to that holy place.
