A Quiet Mind and a Lighter Heart

Dear Fr. Marco, I sent a prayer to your team last spring. It was a card for my husband, Brian, who had been carrying such a heavy burden of anxiety and sadness for months. I asked simply for peace for him, and for the strength for both of us to walk through it. I have your photograph of the card in my kitchen. Last week, Brian told me he woke up and for the first time in a long while, the weight wasn't there. He's started going for walks again. He's sleeping through the night. It feels like a slow, gentle thaw. I don't know how else to describe it. I just wanted to thank you for carrying that prayer. It meant so much to know it was there.
