Dear Fr. Marco, I sent a card for my husband, who was to undergo a complex spine surgery. The doctors were very concerned. I asked that you carry our prayer for his hands, for the surgeons' hands, and for a recovery without complications. You wrote back with the photograph, and I placed it on his bedside table. The surgery lasted many hours, but it went exactly as hoped. The surgeon said everything aligned perfectly. My husband is home now, and his pain is less each day. There is a quiet peace in our house that wasn't there before. I don't know how else to describe it. Thank you for carrying our prayer to that holy place. It felt like we were not alone.
