Answered Prayers for Mental Health and Recovery
A Quiet Peace Found in Depression's Darkest Time

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco,
I sent a prayer card for my daughter. She has struggled with severe depression for years. This autumn was particularly dark for her, and I was carrying this weight every day. I wrote out my prayer for her to find some light, some reason to keep going, and I sent it to your team.
Since the card was carried in St. Peter's, I cannot explain it, but something has shifted. Not a dramatic healing, but a quiet one. She called me last week and said, for the first time in months, she felt a small sense of peace. She started taking short walks again. The despair seems to have loosened its grip just enough for her to breathe. Her therapist says she is engaging more in their sessions.
I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I am grateful for this change, for this moment of grace. Thank you for carrying our prayer to that holy place.
Yours truly,
