Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you last month to carry a prayer for my mother, Greta. She was facing a total hip replacement and we were all very anxious about the surgery and her recovery, given her age. I asked your team to bring our prayer for peace for her and skill for her surgeons. I was so comforted when I received the photo of the card in St. Peter's. Her surgery went perfectly, better than the doctors even expected. The pain has been manageable and her recovery in the weeks since has been steady and without any complications. She is already walking with a walker and her spirits are good. I believe having our prayer carried there brought us a deep sense of calm during a very worrying time.
