This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco,
I had asked your team to carry my prayer, written on the card for St. Jude. It was for my own mind and spirit. For years, the anxiety and the heavy sadness made every day so difficult to face. I sent the card because I felt I had nowhere else to turn.
Since the day I received the photograph from your team, something quiet began. It wasn't a sudden change, but a slow turning. The constant noise of worry in my head began to settle. I find I can breathe a little easier now. I have been able to get out of bed and face my days without the old dread. I even called a counselor, something I was too afraid to do for so long. I am taking small steps, one at a time, and for the first time in a long while, they feel steady.
I don't know how to explain it, other than to say I feel carried. Thank you for doing this sacred work.
