After Surgery, My Mother's Pain Is Much More Bearable

Dear Fr. Marco, I had you carry my prayer card for my mother who was having surgery for a cancer diagnosis. The doctors told us it would be a difficult recovery. I sent the prayer to your team just before she went into the hospital. The surgery itself went as well as it could. The nurses told us she was doing better than expected. It has been a few weeks now, and while she is still tired, her pain is much more bearable than we were told to expect. We are taking things day by day. I wanted to thank you for helping us carry our prayer. It gave me a great sense of peace during a very hard time. Yours, Elara
