Dear Fr. Marco,
I sent a prayer for my healing after a very difficult rotator cuff surgery. The pain was constant and the recovery felt endless. I was carrying the prayer for myself, asking for the strength to endure the therapy and for my body to mend properly. I sent it to you, and your team carried it to St. Peter's. Not long after I received the photograph, something shifted. The physical therapy sessions became more bearable. My range of motion improved week by week in a way that surprised my therapist. Last week, I was discharged from treatment. The surgeon says the repair is solid and I am fully recovered. I can lift my grandchild again without pain. I don't know how to explain it except to say I felt carried when I couldn't carry myself. Thank you for this quiet service.
