Doctors Amazed at Recovery After Heart Surgery

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wanted to write and tell you about what has happened. Last month I sent you a prayer card for my husband, for his upcoming open-heart surgery. I asked for strength for him and wisdom for his doctors. The surgery was very complex and risky. They told us recovery would be long and difficult. After the surgery, his progress has been something the doctors keep calling remarkable. He was sitting up the next day, walking the day after that, and he came home a full week earlier than anyone expected. His surgeon told us last week that he has never seen a recovery like this from such a procedure. I know our prayers were heard. Thank you for carrying our prayer to St. Peter's.
