Family Reconciliation After Years of Silence

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I sent a Holy Card last month asking for prayers for my family, especially for my son and me. We had not spoken in over four years after a terrible argument about his choices. The silence was breaking my heart. I asked you to carry my prayer for forgiveness and a way forward. I just wanted the door to be open again. Two weeks after I received the photograph of my card in St. Peter's, my son called. He didn't mention the argument. He just said he was thinking about me and asked how I was. We talked for an hour. It was awkward and wonderful. Since then, we have spoken every Sunday. The anger is gone.
