Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you in such a dark place. I asked your team to carry a prayer for my mother, who passed last autumn, and for me, that I might find some peace from the grief and anxiety that has been so heavy. It has been a terrible year. Since I received the photograph of the card in the Basilica, something has slowly shifted. The weight feels a little less. I am able to think of my mom with more love than sorrow now. I don't know how to explain it, but I am so grateful. It feels like a small light has been turned on. Thank you for carrying my prayer.
