Finding Peace After My Diagnosis

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I had been carrying this prayer for my own peace of mind and strength. My cancer diagnosis last spring filled me with such fear, and I felt so alone. I wrote my prayer down, asking just for the courage to face each day, and sent it to you. Since my card was held in St. Peter's, something has quietly shifted. The scans are still there, the treatments continue, but the heavy dread has lifted. I wake up now and can breathe. I can sit with my family without the panic I used to feel. I don't know how to explain it except that I feel carried. Thank you for taking my simple words to that holy place.
