Finding Peace After the Accident

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wrote to you last autumn. I carried a prayer for my brother, who was struggling after a serious car crash. The pain was bad, but the fear and the dark thoughts were worse. I sent that prayer to you, asking for him to find some calm, for the panic to lift. I have held onto the photograph you sent. In the months since, slowly, he has begun to talk again. He is seeing a counselor now. He told me last week that for the first time, he feels the days are not so heavy. I do not know how to thank you for carrying our words. It felt like we were not alone.
