This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wrote to you last autumn. I asked you to carry a prayer for my brother, who was scheduled for major surgery. I was so worried for him. You sent me the photograph of the card in St. Peter's, and I held onto it. I am writing to tell you that his surgery went as well as the doctors hoped. The recovery has been long, but he is home now and getting stronger every week. There is still a road ahead, but we feel a great peace. Thank you for carrying our prayer to that holy place. It gave us something solid to hold onto during those hard days. With gratitude,
