Healing After a Difficult Surgery

Dear Fr. Marco, In December, I asked your team to carry a prayer for my recovery from major back surgery. The pain had been constant for years, and I was so afraid of the operation and the long rehab. I sent the prayer card for St. Jude, asking for strength and for the surgeons' hands to be guided. I placed the photo you sent on my nightstand. The surgery went as well as could be hoped. The recovery has been slow, and some days are still hard, but I am making progress I didn't think was possible. Last week, I walked to the mailbox without my cane. It's a small thing, but it felt like a milestone. I am so grateful my prayer was taken to St. Peter's. Thank you for this quiet service. It gave me a point of focus when I needed one most.
