Mother's Pain Has Eased After Surgery

Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you in October asking you to carry a prayer for my mother, who was facing surgery for ovarian cancer. It was a difficult time for our family. A few weeks after you sent the photograph of the card from St. Peter's, she had the operation. The doctors were able to remove the tumor. Her recovery has been slow, but she is home now and her pain has eased considerably. She has more energy and can sit in the garden again. We don't know what lies ahead, but we are grateful for this time of peace. Thank you for your service and for the work your team does.
