Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you asking that you carry my prayer for my upcoming back surgery. I was very frightened of the pain and the long recovery I was told to expect. I sent the prayer for strength and peace. Since the operation, my recovery has been surprisingly quiet. The pain has been manageable, and I have felt a calmness I did not expect. I am walking a little more each day. I do not know what the coming weeks will bring, but this peaceful start has been a great comfort. Thank you for your team's kindness in carrying my prayer.
