My Brother Came Through His Surgery So Well

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wanted to write and tell you what happened. A few weeks ago, I wrote to you with a card for my brother Paul. He was facing a very serious and complicated heart surgery. I asked you to carry my prayer for his safety and for the surgeons' hands. You sent me the photo of the card held in St. Peter's, and I showed it to Paul before he went in. He held onto that thought. The surgery was last Tuesday. The doctors said it went as well as it possibly could have. He is already sitting up and talking, and his recovery has been steady. There is a long road ahead, but this beginning has given us so much hope. I am so grateful to you for carrying our prayer to that holy place. Thank you for this quiet service. With gratitude, Tamsin
