My Heart Surgery Recovery Was So Peaceful

Dear Fr. Marco, Last winter, I sent a card for my upcoming open-heart surgery. I was carrying a prayer for the surgeons' hands and for my own peace. The day after I received the photo from your team, I went in for the procedure. The recovery in the hospital was difficult, as expected, but I felt a deep sense of calm throughout it all. There were no complications, and my strength has been returning steadily week by week. I am home now, walking each day, and the fear I had before is gone. I simply wanted to thank you for carrying that prayer for me. It was a great comfort to know it was there.
