My Heart Surgery Went Better Than Anyone Expected

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and team, I wrote to you last month with a heavy heart. I asked you to carry my prayer for my upcoming heart surgery. I was so afraid. I told you I felt weak and the doctors said it was a complex procedure. I sent my prayer and when I received the photograph of my card in St. Peter's, I put it by my hospital bag. The morning of my surgery, I looked at it and felt a calm I hadn't known in months. The surgeon came out afterwards and told my family everything went perfectly, smoother than all their planning had predicted. My recovery here at home has been steady. I'm walking a little more each day. The fear is gone. I just wanted to thank you for carrying my prayer to that holy place when I felt I couldn't carry it myself. With gratitude,
