My Hip Replacement Recovery Went So Much Smoother

Dear Fr. Marco, I wanted to write to share some good news. A few months ago, I asked your team to carry a prayer for my upcoming hip replacement surgery. The pain had been so constant, and I was very anxious about the recovery. You carried my prayer, and I kept the photograph you sent on my nightstand. The surgery itself went well, but what has surprised me is how much smoother the recovery has been than I expected. The physical therapy has been difficult, of course, but the pain is manageable now, and I'm getting around the house with a walker. My sister, who has been helping me, even remarked how much better my spirits seem compared to before the surgery. I just feel a sense of peace about it all that I didn't have before.
