My Husband Came Through Surgery with Unexpected Peace

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco, I had asked for prayers for my husband, William, who was facing a very serious heart surgery. The doctors were concerned because of his age and other health problems. I wrote down my prayer for his strength and for the surgeon's hands and sent it to your team. His operation was last Tuesday. The surgeon said everything went as well as it possibly could have. But more than that, William has had a peace about him since he woke up. He is usually so anxious, but he has been calm. He is recovering slowly, but his spirit is strong. I believe having our prayer carried to St. Peter's was a great comfort to me while I waited, and I see that peace in him now. Thank you for this quiet service. God bless your work.
