My Husband Has Stopped Drinking After Years of Struggle

Dear Fr. Marco,
I sent you a prayer for my husband Michael back in July. I asked for strength for him to overcome his addiction to alcohol. It had been going on for almost ten years, and our family was falling apart. I wrote it all down on the card and sent it to your team.
Last month, something shifted. He told me he was tired of the person he had become. He hasn't had a drink in five weeks now. He's going to meetings. He's talking to me again. Our house is peaceful for the first time in a long time. I don't know what the future holds, but for today, things are better. Thank you for carrying my prayer.
