My Husband's Recovery After Heart Surgery Was So Smooth

Dear Fr. Marco, I wanted to write and thank you. I sent a card for my husband, Henry, before his open heart surgery last month. I was carrying a prayer for his surgeons and for his healing. I was so afraid. Your team carried it in for us. Since the surgery, his recovery has been so much smoother than anyone expected. He was up and walking sooner, and his pain has been manageable. He came home from the hospital last week, and he’s getting stronger every day. I know medical care did this, but having our prayer in that holy place gave me a deep peace through the hardest days. It felt like we weren’t alone. Thank you for this gentle service. God bless you all.
