My Husband's Recovery from Stomach Cancer

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wrote to you in the early autumn, asking you to carry a prayer for my husband, Mark. He was very weak after his diagnosis and first surgery. The prayer was for strength for him, and for peace for our family. I remember receiving the photograph of the card in St. Peter's. It felt like a small anchor in a very stormy sea. I placed it on our kitchen table. In the months since, Mark has finished his treatments. His last scans showed no signs of the disease. He is regaining his strength, a little more each day. The peace we prayed for has come, slowly, like the light returning after a long winter. I do not know what the future holds, but I am so grateful for this time.
