My Husband's Surgery Went Better Than Expected

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you asking for prayers for my husband, Gerald, who was facing a very difficult surgery for his heart. We were both so frightened about what might happen. I sent you a prayer card asking for strength for him and for the doctors' hands to be guided. The morning of his operation, I looked at the photograph you sent of our card in St. Peter's, and it gave me a quiet peace. The surgery was long, but his surgeon came out to tell me everything had gone as well as it possibly could. His recovery in the hospital has been steady. He came home yesterday, tired but so grateful. I just wanted to thank you and your team for carrying our prayer. It felt like we had a small piece of our hope placed right there in that holy place.
