My Husband's Surgery Went So Well, and He's Home Now

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wanted to write and thank you. Last month, I asked you to carry a prayer card for my husband, Carlo, who was facing a very difficult heart surgery. I was so afraid. When I received the photograph from St. Peter's, I felt a sense of calm I hadn't felt in weeks. We placed it by his hospital bed. His surgery was last Tuesday. The doctors said it went as well as it possibly could have. He came home yesterday, and he is tired but recovering. Every day he is a little stronger. I don't know what the future holds, but I am so grateful for this peace and for his being here. Thank you for carrying our prayer. With gratitude,
