My Knee Surgery Recovery Went So Well

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I am writing to say thank you. Last month, I asked you to carry a prayer for my upcoming knee replacement surgery. I was so nervous about the pain and the long recovery I had heard about. When I received the photograph of my prayer card in St. Peter's, it gave me a real sense of peace. I had the surgery two weeks ago. My doctor said the procedure itself went perfectly. But what has surprised everyone is how well I am healing. The physical therapist says my progress is remarkable for this stage. I am already walking with just a cane, and the pain is much less than I feared. I don't know what the future holds, but I feel blessed by how things are going right now. Thank you for carrying my prayer to that holy place. Sincerely,
