My Mother's Cancer Has Not Progressed

Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you last month asking you to carry a prayer for my mother, who has been fighting cancer. I felt so helpless watching her struggle with the treatments. Sending that card to your team gave me a small way to do something when there was so little I could do. Since her prayer was carried in St. Peter's, we received the news that her latest scans show the disease has remained stable. It has not progressed. The doctors are pleased. There is still a long road ahead, but for now, we are grateful for this moment of peace and stability. Thank you for providing this comfort.
