Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I sent a Holy Card for my own upcoming surgery. It was a major spinal operation and I was quite afraid. After I received the photograph of my prayer in St. Peter's, a deep sense of peace settled on me. The surgery itself went better than the surgeon expected. My recovery has been steady. I'm walking again, and the pain is manageable. I don't know if I can explain it, but I felt carried through those weeks. Thank you for this quiet service. It was an anchor for me.
