My Sister Came Through Her Surgery Safely

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco,
I wrote a card for my sister, Anna, who was facing a serious operation last month. I asked for the prayers of the Church to be with her and the surgeons. I sent the prayer to your team, and you carried it to St. Peter's.
The surgery was last week. It was long and complicated, but the doctors said everything went as well as it could have. She is now at home, resting and recovering. The pain is being managed, and she is getting stronger each day. The first difficult days are behind her. We feel a great sense of relief.
Thank you for this quiet service. It was a comfort to know her name was being held up in prayer there, even when I couldn't be with her.
