My Sister Is Recovering So Well After Her Surgery

Dear Fr. Marco, A while ago I wrote to you for my sister. She was going in for a very serious heart surgery, and I was so afraid for her. I sent you a holy card asking for the prayers of the faithful and for God’s hand to guide the surgeons. Your team carried it into St. Peter's for me. I have the photograph here on my table. The surgery happened last month, and it was a long day for all of us. But the doctors said everything went as well as it possibly could have. My sister is home now. She is weak, of course, but she is walking a little more each day, and her spirit is good. I believe the prayers that were offered for her made a real difference. She had peace going into it, and I had peace waiting. I just wanted to thank you for taking my worry and turning it into a prayer that was carried to such a holy place. It meant more than I can say.
