My Surgery and Recovery Went So Well

Dear Fr. Marco, I wanted to write and tell you what happened after I sent a prayer. Last spring, I was facing a very big surgery. The doctors said it would be difficult and the recovery long. I felt so afraid and alone. I wrote out a prayer for courage and for the surgeon's hands to be guided. I asked your team to carry it to St. Peter's. The card arrived, and you sent the photograph. I kept it by my bed in the hospital. My surgery went smoothly, better than anyone expected. The recovery has been hard, but I have felt a peace through it all. I am home now and getting stronger every day. I am so grateful to have had my prayer carried there. Thank you for this quiet service. God bless you all.
