My Surgery Went Better Than Expected

Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you asking for prayers before my gallbladder surgery. I was so anxious about the procedure and the recovery time. I sent my prayer card to your team and was comforted knowing it was being carried to St. Peter's. I had the surgery last Tuesday. The surgeon said everything went very smoothly. The pain has been more manageable than I feared, and I was able to go home the same day. I feel like a weight has been lifted, in more ways than one. I am taking things slow, but I am so grateful for the peace I felt. Thank you for your service.
