My Surgery Went So Well, Feeling Much Better Now

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wanted to write and share some good news. I asked you to carry a prayer for my upcoming back surgery, that the surgeon would have steady hands and that I would have strength for the recovery. I sent the prayer a few weeks before the operation. The surgery went very smoothly, better than the doctors expected. The pain after was less than I feared, and I have been able to walk a little more each day. My physical therapist says my progress is good. I know the road is still long, but I feel a deep sense of peace about it all. I kept the photograph of the card in St. Peter's on my nightstand. Thank you for carrying my prayer to that holy place. It meant a great deal to me.
