Dear Fr. Marco, I wrote to you a few weeks ago asking you to carry a prayer for my wife, who has been struggling with a serious illness. Her name is Lena. I felt so helpless and just needed to do something, anything, to feel connected to a greater hope. When I received the photograph of the prayer card inside St. Peter's, it gave me a moment of peace I hadn't felt in a long time. Since then, her doctors have told us that her latest scans are stable. It is a small step, but it is the first good news we have had in months. I know the journey is long, but I feel a little stronger to face it.
