Our Daughter's Leukemia in Remission

Dear Fr. Marco, I sent a prayer card for my daughter Anna back in July. She was in the middle of a very difficult treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The doctors were hopeful but cautious, and we were just trying to get through each day. I asked your team to carry our prayer for her strength and healing to St. Peter's. About three weeks after I received the photograph of the card in the basilica, we got the results from her latest bone marrow biopsy. The doctors told us the leukemia is in remission. She still has a long road of maintenance therapy ahead, but this was the news we had been praying for. Her energy is slowly coming back, and she was even able to go back to school part-time this week. Thank you for providing this quiet way to send our hopes to Rome. It felt like a tangible act when we felt so helpless. With gratitude,
