Our Family Reconciled After Many Years

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and your team,
Last month I sent a prayer for healing in my family, for my sister and me. We hadn't spoken in nearly eight years, over an old misunderstanding that just grew. I asked for your Holy Card service to carry that prayer to St. Peter's. I kept the photo you sent on my kitchen windowsill.
Two weeks ago, my sister called. She said she'd been thinking about me and wanted to talk. We met for coffee. It was awkward at first, but we talked for hours. We're both older now, and it just didn't seem worth carrying the hurt any longer. We're speaking regularly now. We're planning a small family dinner for next week.
I don't know if it was the prayer, or just time, or both. But I felt a great sense of peace when I sent it, and I feel that peace now. Thank you for carrying our words to that holy place.
