Our Marriage Healed After a Long Winter

Dear Fr. Marco, I sent you a prayer card last autumn asking for intercession for our marriage. My husband and I had been living like strangers in the same house for years. The silence was so heavy. I asked you to carry my simple prayer for a softening of hearts and a way to begin again. After you sent the photograph, something shifted in me first. I found the courage to speak without accusation. He listened. We started talking, just a little at first. It was hard. But we kept at it. We are talking now, really talking, and sometimes even laughing. The ice has thawed. It feels like a new season has begun in our home. I don't know how to thank you and your team for carrying that burden for me when I felt so alone with it.
