Dear Fr. Marco, I sent a prayer card to your team in April asking you to carry my prayer for reconciliation with my husband, James. We had been separated for almost three years. The division between us felt like a deep, cold canyon. I just asked for a softening of hearts, for grace to heal the old wounds. When I received the photograph of the card in St. Peter's, I felt a quiet peace for the first time in so long. I didn't know what would happen. Last week, James called. He asked if we could talk. We met for coffee, and for the first time, we listened without all the old anger. We are taking things slowly, but he is back home now. We are talking, really talking, and rebuilding trust day by day. I know we have a long road ahead, but I believe that prayer you carried for us opened a door we had both locked.
