Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wrote asking you to carry a prayer for my son, James. He had been lost for so long, struggling with things that kept him from his family and from any kind of peace. It felt like we had tried everything. When I received the photo of the card in St. Peter's, I just sat with it for a long time. I didn't expect anything to change right away. But a few weeks after the prayer was carried, James called. He said he was tired of the way things were. He started talking to a counselor. He's been coming for Sunday dinner again. The anger he carried for years seems to have softened. He's not 'fixed,' but he is finding his way back. I believe your service helped carry our hope to a holy place when we had very little left.
