Dear Fr. Marco, I sent you a prayer for my son two months ago. I asked you to carry it, just a simple plea for his heart to soften and for him to find his way back. The estrangement had lasted nearly five years. It was a heavy stone in my chest every single day. Since the prayer was taken to St. Peter's, I have just felt a quiet sense of peace I hadn't known in so long. Last week, completely out of the blue, he called. His voice was different. He said he was sorry. We talked for hours. He's coming to visit next month. I don't know how to explain the change in him, but I believe our prayer was heard. Thank you for what your team does, for being a bridge for us when we feel so far away. It meant everything.
