Peace After Surgery and Clear Scans Since

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wrote to you a few months ago to carry a prayer for my mother, who was facing surgery for breast cancer. She was so afraid, and I felt helpless being far away. I asked you to carry my prayer for her peace and for the hands of her surgeons. I received the photograph of the card in St. Peter's and it gave me such comfort to know it was there. Since then, my mother's surgery went as well as could be hoped, and her first set of scans have been clear. More than her health, her spirit is so much lighter. She says she feels a calm she hasn't felt in years. Thank you for allowing me to share my prayer in that holy place. It was a small act that helped me feel connected and hopeful.
