Peace and Hope Through Treatment

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I want to thank you. I sent a prayer card for my sister, Maria, who was beginning a difficult treatment for breast cancer. It was a time of fear for our whole family. Since her card was carried in St. Peter's, something has shifted. Not in the illness, which is still there, but in us. There is a sense of peace that is hard to explain. Maria says she feels stronger, more able to face the days. Her last scan showed the tumor had not grown, which the doctors said was a very good sign. We are taking it one day at a time, but we feel carried. Thank you for this quiet service. It meant more than I can say.
