Peace and Steady Progress After a Long Darkness

Dear Fr. Marco and your team, I wrote to you last autumn. I asked you to carry my prayer for my daughter, who has been struggling for many years with severe depression and anxiety that kept her from living any kind of life. The darkness was so heavy for her, and for our family watching. I sent you the prayer for her healing and for strength for us to support her. Since you carried it, I don't know how to explain it except to say a small light returned. It's not a sudden fix. But she agreed to try a new therapist. She is getting out of bed. She spoke to an old friend last week. These are small things, but they are everything to us after such a long standstill. The heaviness in our home has lifted just enough to breathe. Thank you for taking our burden to that holy place.
