This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco and your team,
I sent you a card asking to carry my prayer to St. Peter's. I had just been diagnosed and I asked for peace, for strength, and for God's will to be done, for myself. The photo of the card held there meant so much.
Since then, I have felt a quietness I didn't have before. The fear isn't gone, but it doesn't rule my days. I have been able to face the treatments. My family says they see a steadiness in me. I don't know what the future holds, but I am walking through this now with a different heart. Thank you for carrying my prayer into that holy place.
