Peace for My Son's Anxiety

This is the sender’s own account, sent to us after their prayer was carried in. It is not a promise that the same will happen for anyone else.
Dear Fr. Marco,
I wrote out a prayer for my son. He is in his early twenties and had been carrying such a heavy burden of anxiety that he could hardly leave the house. I asked for peace for him, and for the strength for our family to support him. I sent the prayer on the card to your team in April.
It has been a slow road, but a real one. He started seeing a new counselor the week after I mailed the card. There was no sudden change, but he began to talk more. Last month, he went for a walk in the park with his sister. It was the first time he'd done something like that in over a year. He still has hard days, of course. But the crushing weight seems to have lifted just enough for him to breathe and to try. For us, that is everything.
