Dear Fr. Marco, I sent a prayer card for my sister Althea. We hadn't spoken in nearly a decade after a terrible argument. I asked for a single chance to make things right, to find a path toward forgiveness. Your team carried my plea to St. Peter's. Last week, while shopping for groceries, I saw her. Instead of turning away, she looked at me and just said 'hello'. It was small, but it was something. We spoke for a few minutes. The anger wasn't there anymore. We've agreed to have coffee next week. I don't know what will happen, but the door is open. Thank you for being part of this.
